We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team and spearhead our growth in these global markets. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in IT services sales to acquire new startup clients, form strategic partnerships, and drive significant revenue growth. This is a remote position (with potential for a future hybrid setup) offering a competitive base salary plus commission for high performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and connect with potential startup clients in the USA & Europe through channels such as LinkedIn outreach, cold emails/calls, networking events, and inbound lead follow-ups.
- Sales & Deal Closing: Own the full sales cycle from initial contact through proposal, contract negotiation, and closing, while maintaining high conversion rates and ensuring an excellent client experience.
- Partnership Development: Establish and manage strategic partnerships with incubators, accelerators, and complementary service providers in the startup ecosystem to expand MTechZilla’s reach and referral network.
- Market Research & Positioning: Analyze startup needs, industry trends, and competitor offerings to refine MTechZilla’s value proposition and sales approach, ensuring our services align with market demands.
- Build & Lead a Sales Team: Develop scalable sales processes and, over time, recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team to accelerate revenue growth and broaden our market presence.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of B2B IT services sales experience (web, mobile, AI development), with a focus on selling to startups in the USA & Europe.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding revenue targets through proactive outbound sales and business development efforts.
- Networking Skills: Strong networking and relationship-building abilities within the startup and tech ecosystem, with an existing network being a plus.
- Sales Tools: Hands-on experience with CRM systems, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and email automation tools for lead management and outreach.
- Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions and influence decision-makers.
- Self-Driven: Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with a global team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Agency Experience: Experience working in a fast-growing tech services agency or a similar fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to evolving processes and targets.
- Startup Insight: Strong understanding of the startup funding landscape and how technology needs evolve at various funding stages (Pre-seed, Seed, Series A, etc.).
- Advanced Outreach: Familiarity with modern lead generation strategies, cold outreach techniques, and multi-touch sales campaigns that improve engagement and conversion.
